Normally, I would agree, but the other day, people working on roof screwed up our DirecTV signal, so a guy had to come out and fix the dish and move it. He told us it was his last call for the day, but he was awesome and was saying basically how to get a couple little deals from some cable companies by just saying you are taking your money elsewhere and other little tidbits. I was shocked about how relaxed he was.

Guess it just depend on the person.

Cause I had some cable guy come in one day in the evening(he works evening/night shift,so this was basically the start of his shift) and basically mentioned abunch of things that the company never tells people they can get,but if the customer asks for it, then they get it for free. I basically got my entire house rewired(or re-cabled?) and a new box, all free of charge(just by saying that the cable guy said they provide those stuff for free)

Traffic lights. It is 4 AM and nobody is around except me, and this ****ing light doesn't turn green for 5 minutes. So aggravating.

At 4 AM, red lights are just suggestions. Drive through it (unless, of course you have cameras where you live. I don't).

This is a necessity where I live. Half of the lights go to flashing orange after 10PM.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Yea, one of the things I enjoyed when living in a smaller town, was the ability to just run red lights late at night.

Also (maybe this isn't common knowledge) for those who don't know, a light isn't triggered by the lights from your car. They place inductive loops in the ground that detect the metal on your vehicle, so if you don't stop on the loop, your might not be detected.

But most of the time, in heavy traffic areas, the timer of the light takes precedence, especially during rush hours.

Some lights are triggered by flashing lights, though. At least in my experience.

Nearly every traffic light in my town has cameras.

Send my friend a message asking him what he is doing this weekend and invite him to come over.

He responds not knowing what he is doing, but that he will "keep it in mind."

Thanks for the ****ing consideration, ***.

Just make sure you take some time considering whether or not to open the door when he knocks on it.
