The roommate situations are bad but, guys, ever consider talking to these people about the issues you have?

I just feel that the worst scenario is what you all are dreaming up here - moving out, fighting, throwing someone through a window (though I would love to read that story).

Sometimes people just don't know. And if you haven't said anything over the years, they probably think you don't care.

Yeah most people are oblivious to how others do things.

The fact that this sandwich cost me 6.58. The damn thing was only half of a full sandwich too! And I thought Manhattan prices were absurd!

Eating anywhere is always so much. I went to a restaurant once(not even some big name place either, just some small place) and the salad was like $6 and soup was over $10.

On the other side of that...there are many places which have great deals. There's this one place I got food from(it's a restaurant but they do takeout) where for $15 or something, you get enough food for like 8-10 servings! It honestly doesn't look like that much in the container, but once you take out 2-3 platefuls of food, you can't even tell by looking in the container.

I've told him that he is a disgusting pig for not washing his hands more times than I can count. I'm sick and tired of wiping hand sanitizer on all of the remote controls in the house twice a week and he simply doesn't give a ****.

Yeah the sanitary situation is awful. I would probably move out for that reason alone.

A really short kid (think less than 5") who tried to pick a fight with me cause he knew I wouldn't hit him back. (I'm 6'3".)

Someone called one of my favorite people on earth a less correct way of saying disabled because she wasn't doing well in AP Math. All kinds of ****ing stupid. And then another kid calling my best friend stupid because she has high 80's average to his low 90's average.

And all these people are short. Huh.

                      I really hate rude people.

How hard is it to treat others with some dignity, show some respect?

I ask the same thing when I'm in Bloomington, IN. They have some of the rudest people I've ever met(as well as outlying towns from Bloomington.) I've lived near Bloomington for eighteen years and it really made me sad, but made me be extra nice to people with small things. From never opening doors, to just having a semi happy look on your face, it's not that hard to be a non-rude person.

This isn't coming from a guy trying to trash IU since I'm a Purdue student. I used to be a fan of IU (somewhat still am, I still want them to do well, just not beat Purdue.) From never opening doors, to just having a semi happy look on your face, it's not that hard to be a non-rude person.

lol, this happening in Toronto...not really surprising. Kids in Toronto(at least around where I live) are annoying.

And people making fun of other people for doing bad in school.....Some of my friends use to do that, but it was always as a joke(and them, along with anyone involved always knew it was a joke). But someone doing that to intentionally be rude.....they're the real stupid one.

One thing I hate, especially for around this time of the year, is when multiple stores have the EXACT same product, but you are unable to get one to price match because either the store(or the company who made the item) changes the code. So a TV in store A could have a code like ABCDEF1 and then store B could have a code like ABCDEF2 and because of that small difference, the store doesn't price match because it's not "the exact same thing"....We all know it's just the cheap way of not getting a store to price match another store.
