Telemarketers...calling me about lowering my interest rate for a credit card I do not have. Then before I can get "don't ******* call me again"out of my mouth, they hang up on me. Lol.

I got a call the other night from one. They said I could have 60% off the cover price of our local newspaper. I quickly said I wasn't interested. She asked, "May I ask why?" And I said, "I can't read!" Then I hung up.

People who park in front of fire hydrants always did grind my gears, so this story brings me joy.

Last night in East Boston, Massachusetts, a seven-alarm fire broke out, which escalated into an eight-alarm fire. Given the lives of Boston Fire Lieutenant Edward Walsh and Boston Firefighter Michael Kennedy were so recently claimed by a nine-alarm fire in Back Bay, concern was high and news crews were quickly on the scene. They did not expect to find the the following scene…

As news crews arrived, local WBZ CBS reporter Katie Brace came upon this BMW 3 Series Coupe, which was parked in front of a fire hydrant. Obviously this was dumb, and the Boston Fire Department quickly dispatched their own form of street justice. As you can see from the photos, we doubt the owner of this BMW will park in front of a hydrant again.

I agree, but also we never know if someone has an issue that's not always visible. Makes it tough for me to judge people.

That's the worst. When my cats were a lot younger they would always sit at the end of the bed and watch for sudden movements under the covers. My legs and feet got cut to ribbons.

When a professor goes through all the work to put together a slideshow (which depending on the subject is the best way to teach large sums of information) and a lecture to go with it and then pisses it all over it by burning through slides faster than the students can write.

I get that this is college and we shouldn't expect to be babied, but if you're trying to teach us, then why would you do that? We're retaining literally nothing. As I look around, everybody has given up taking notes because he doesn't give us a chance to write things down. We all go home and learn the material by ourselves and only show up for the clicker quizzes. You do nothing for us.

Not only that, you did all that work for nothing. Nobody's paying attention and it makes you look like a bad professor.

Both parties are losers in this situation.
