Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Women and their lack of decisiveness in food choices is endlessly frustrating.
A typical convo:
Her: What do you want for dinner?
Me: I literally do not care. Please just let me know what you want and I'm cool with it.
Her: I don't want to decide, what are you in the mood for?
Me: Seriously, I don't care. I know subconsciously there is something you want, please just let me know.
Her: I picked last time you pick something.
Me: What about sushi?
Her: Ehhhh not really feeling it
Me: Look, I don't care. Please just pick what you want.
Her: OMG I had a rough week I don't know please just pick something.
Me: What about that chinese place?
Her: Not really feeling chinese
Me: What about Tony's Pizza?
Her: Can we do Papa John's?
Me: bertstare.jpg
Why do we torture ourselves with these creatures?
My wife and I have started this thing where one of us will pick 3-5 options, and we go back and forth ruling one out. We each don't usually like picking restaurants, but it's easier to eliminate something and ends up with the result above without anyone getting mad.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I hate when people on internet complain about having results of something(such as a tv episode,or sports game) spoiled for them. I'm not talking about like if someone spoils a future episode that hasn't aired, cause that's obviously understandable having people being mad. I'm mostly talking about social media. People get upset when seeing talk about a certain show and finding out the ending of an episode that recently aired......Why is that person even going through comments on a tv show when they know a new episode aired and they didn't watch it.
What are they expecting to see in comments sections, just people being like "I liked the past episode of ___" or "I hated the ____ episode today" and that's it? People are obviously gonna talk about stuff, so if you didn't see it and don't want to know, then don't read it.
I avoid so many things whenever I didn't see something I will be watching later on. If there's a TV show or something I didn't see, I won't look at anything that has to do with it on the internet until after I see the stuff I missed.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I managed to go months unspoiled on the Red Wedding. It isn't that hard if you build a wall of filters in Tweetdeck.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I didn't watch the final season of Breaking Bad until a couple weeks. Was able to stay spoiler free the whole time.

I read a ton of tweets about Red Wedding before I saw the episode and I still was in no way prepared for what I was about to watch.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Having the technology and ability to manufacture gasoline vehicles with MPG of greater 50mpg (VW has a 300mpg, but technology has been available since the 70s), but none being produced because of oil money.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I'm with you NDalum. I have a similar convo with my fiance every freaking week. Last night's:
Me: Going to the 7-Eleven. Do you want me to grab you anything.
Her: Food.
Me: Like a hot dog or wings or something?
Her: NO, a snack.
Me: Ok, like what?
Her: Anything, you know what I like.
Me: Just tell me. Give me a few options.
Her: I told you it really doesn't matter.
Me: Ok, I'm going to grab you some popcorn.
Her: NO, anything but popcorn.
Me: Ok, I'll just grab the first thing I see.
Her: Ok, but call me before you get it.
Me: You know what, why don't you just come with me.
Her: Forget it Chris. You're making this difficult.
