People who ride their motorcycles between the 2 lines of traffic, it drives me nuts. It’s also startling when you are not expecting something that comes roaring by really close.

I saw this for the first time when I lived in Cali. I couldn't believe it was actually legal.

It happens all of the time. I'm kind of used to it, and actually feel sort of good when I see them coming before they pass me so I can quickly veer a step left or right to let them know they have a safe passage. Wouldn't you know it, they generally acknowledge you with a hand-wave as well. They also tend to have their headlight on to notice more easily even in your peripheral vision.

I'm not upset with them; I envy them.

It's still very dangerous though, but if it's stopped traffic I don't see a legal issue with it. If they are moving (and I mean like more than 20 MPH), there is a lot more cause for concern.

I don't know if this belongs more here or in the WTF news thread, but this lack of accountability from companies really makes my blood boil.

Reddit: EA deleted my Origin account and EA help is totally ignoring me.

Reading that EA (or was it an Origin ) reps responses made my me grind my teeth to dust.

People have no sensitivity or awareness of others.

I'm in a waiting room and there's a guy near me with his phone full blast watching videos, some of which have profanity.

I feel like people do this one purpose to get a reaction, maybe they're bored and just want to start up a conversation of some sort, maybe they think they're entertaining the whole room, but they're the type that can't sit quietly and wait for their name to be called, they feel like somehow they will be the life of the party by inciting conversations with their loud *** ****

Pretty much....I am seeing this on golf courses now, too. When did this become okay? People just roll around blasting music on the golf course, and no one says sh*t to them (let alone marshals/rangers, who apparently don't exist anymore...).

It boils down to people don't care about or respect public space any more. Whatever I want to do, I'm going to do it and f* everyone else. As a well-known tweeter would say, "Sad!".

If only that were the case. I think people are just self-absorbed and inconsiderate of others in the extreme. I blame their parents. You have to be taught to respect polite society, no one comes out of the shoot understanding that. If all you're ever taught (or have demonstrated to you) is that you are always in the right and whatever you want to do is the only thing that matters, you never learn otherwise.
