Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Cheap *** extension cords. Cut the grass every weekend and then get the blower out to blow off the driveway, carport, and deck. And every week I fight a twisted mess of an extension cord. I keep saying I'm going to get a nice contractor grade cord but nooooo I keep fighting this piece of crap.
Maybe it's just my stubbornness grinding my gears!😬Texas Rangers/Saints/LSU/Tottenham Hotspur

It'll be the snowblower cord you'll have to worry about.
And the Christmas lights.Comment

Christmas lights? Yes. Snow in Louisiana? Not likely and what little we may get will be melted by noon. 😆Texas Rangers/Saints/LSU/Tottenham Hotspur

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I let my sis and brother in law borrow my truck all day Saturday because they had some things they needed to move. When they brought it back yesterday evening, there was trash on the floor board (empty 20 oz coke bottles, fast food bag, and napkins) and trash in the bed of my truck. On top of that, my seat was all jacked up. I understand you having to move the seat up or back to safely reach the peddles, but there is no reason, imo, to mess with adjusting the head rest or how the back of the seat is angled. You were just driving it a few blocks within town and then their house to my house (30 minutes tops). You didn't need to make it that comfortable.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I won’t fault someone for adjusting instruments (mirror, seat, even the wheel) but the trash is just disrespectful.
Whenever I ask to use someone else’s things, I’m making sure it’s coming back in same/better condition then originally given to me. I thought that’s just how it should be, but alas.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Never ceases to amaze me how badly people treat other people's stuff. Totally disrespectful.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Moral of the story, don't rent stuff to family.
It's one of the reasons I started a "no glitter in my car" rule. I already hate people who give Christmas gifts with those glitter tissue paper, but at least I'm on the lookout during that time of the year. So if people have something like clothes which contains glitter on it and want to sit in the car, getting unvacumable(that word should be invented to explain glitter) stuff all over, they're not coming back in with that ever again.
Actually, it's more of a "no glitter, period" rule. Inside of anything whether it be a house or car, if you bring any glitter in it, you're banned. Crumbs, dust, hair and so on is one thing, but glitter...Get that away from my stuff.Last edited by Majingir; 08-20-2018, 04:25 PM.Comment

Completely agree, I borrowed my father-in-law's chainsaw for some tree trimming recently and put a new chain on it, and made sure the bar oil and mix gas was full when I brought it back.Texas Rangers/Saints/LSU/Tottenham Hotspur

Coming home to this
Apparently a blockage formed somewhere below my sink and when someone in a unit above mine used their sink, it backed up into and overflowed mineIMG_20180820_173351202.jpg
