Yeah I wear New Balance sneakers at work and they're awesome. Have to replace them every 6 months or so, and they're not cheap (though I do get the employee discount sometimes when a family friend is in), but it's worth it. I'm on my feet 8-9 hours a day, constantly moving or climbing ladders/shelves, and though I come home exhausted often, my legs aren't completely dead and I haven't had pain in my feet.

A GG for the thread:
The first day back at work after an extended weekend. I have to remind myself that I don't hate going to work like I have with jobs in the past. Plus, it's only a 4 day week since I got paid to not work yesterday. ShiiiiieeeetNHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I feel the same way, except for that its about my church. My church literally hates my guts to the point that the only people that talk to me are my parents and some elders that say hi to me occasionaly. Meanwhile, everyone else is giving each other big hugs and high fives while I'm just sitting in a corner on Operation Sports on my phone lol.
But that's not really the thing that bothers me. What bothers me is that after church, me and my dad are literally the only people that do work while everyone else is just socializing. Plus, we get ZERO compensation for our work. Not even a good job. Heck, I've been flipped off at church more times than someone has said "good job" to me.
2) If you're going to do the work, then don't expect a pat on the back. This goes for all aspects of life (school, work, marriage, etc.) if you go around looking for someone to acknowledge your work then more times than not your going to end up disappointed. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

The Postal Service. Apologies if any of you are postal workers, I do appreciate what you guys do, don't get me wrong. BUT... how is it even possible for something that only has to cross two state lines to take nearly two weeks to arrive? Really... it's not like there are important things that I need this piece of mail for... oh, wait... there are... and they're time-sensitive too. Sigh.MLB: Minnesota Twins

They shut the post office in Tucson down. If I for some bizarre reason wanted to mail something to my next door neighbor, they would take it to Phoenix tonight and sort it together with all of Phoenix's mail and then maybe get it back down here on Thursday or Friday.Comment

I had a roommate in college use my blender for a protein shake and then not clean it up. There were maggots in the or something really nasty. He then tried to clean it out like it's all good and not tell me.
Still can't stand him.

When a public figure passes away, then a bunch of people on social media act like they were huge fans of his or her's work. Expressing sympathy only because it's the "cool" thing on Twitter of Facebook for the hour.
Not that it annoys me to the point that I'd classify it under grinds my gears, but I do shake my head and find it mildly amusing.Comment

AT&T.
Upgraded my phone and extended my contract. I was rewarded with a $36 upgrade fee (which I knew was coming) and a $25 increase on my monthly bill that I know I never signed for. If I had stayed out of contract the price would have stayed the same...Comment

Putting old anime DVD's up on Ebay for sale. Everything is going good, 30 views with a watcher on one, 3 watchers on another, etc.
End comes, no one buys anything. I got spoiled when someone paid 220$ for a series earlier in the year.

^Maybe have auction with buy it now feature as well maybe?
One thing I hate is when regular news stations have sports segment and the segment includes them interviewing "fans" of a team to get their thoughts on the team/game or something.I'm talking stupid fans who probably couldn't even name 10 players on that teams roster.
Happened close to me awhile ago too. I went to a game, and after it was done, everyone was on their way home, then some media person was interviewing two people and got their thoughts on the game. I ended up walking past those people being interviewed and I heard the people who were interviewed talking to each other after the interview was done and they were like "I don't know what's going on,I don't even watch hockey"
...lol,really?That media person has a whole street of people wearing some kind of hockey stuff and they interview probably 2 of the only people on the entire block who have 0 idea what's going on.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
But if you're interviewing people who went to a sports game about the game, shouldn't you pull people who were actually wearing gear from the game.....In a crowd of maybe 50 people, just seems strange the few people who were pulled were one of the only to not be wearing any sort of sports gear.Comment
