As for whats grinding my gears on this particular day , its the early darkness that comes with daylight savings times . I think there has to be some link to depression at this time of year to early darkness besides just the stress of the holidays . I mean , dont get me
wrong , I hate my family as much as the next guy , but not enough to kil myself . No , its definitely the early darkness .

Not so much now for me, but once new year's passes, then it gets depressing. 2+ months of cold/snowy weather and darkness by 5pm.

Are lawnmowers that loud that it's annoying? I usually do yard work near sunset as it's too ****ing hot here especially in the summer and the fact I work nights.

Lawnmowers are very loud, especially if you live in a small town that is normally dead silent after a certain time. Where I live Monday through Friday it be dead silent after 4pm. When a lawn mower fires up, you can hear it a mile away out here.

The only thing I hate more is the sound of air compressor tools being used by my neighbor early in the morning.

It's close enough to my house that it was pretty loud. I live in the suburbs and it was pretty quiet before it started. It's not like they started mowing at 4 and went after dark. It didn't start until AFTER it got dark. This was post-sunset.

And it wasn't that hot today. I didn't even break a sweat when I mowed at noon. It was maybe 65-70.

To take it one step further, people who don't vote, but then complain about the way things are or aren't going. If you can't be bothered to participate in voting and democracy once a year (maybe twice a year depending on if your county/state has primary races that year), then you don't get to sit there criticizing and judging the after results of voting and democracy in action.

That's as far as I'll go on the topic though because I know we may be treading on the edge of forbidden waters here in regards to the topic.
