Haha my students would be the last to tell me how I smell, but if they did I think you'd be right. Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Regarding deodorant, I buy whatever I can get maximizing a sale at Target, CVS, etc. A couple months ago I bought like 8 sticks of Degree at once for effectively like $6 total or some **** after gift cards came back with it.
And as far as zits go, I've had one the last couple days right where my earlobe and face meet. What the ****?Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
So I've been wanting to get an Xbox 360 for a while. My daughter has one in her room but I can't really play it much. I have NCAA 14 on there and have been wanting to play it along with some other older sports games.
So after checking prices online and in some stores I decided to take a look at a cash advance/pawn shop. Turns out they had like seven systems and one was $60 and 250GB which was a hell of a deal. So I asked why it was so cheap and she said they lower the prices the longer they are there. So I told her I'd take it. So she grabbed the system and went to get the accessories and she didn't have the right plug or something. So she grabbed me another system which was more expensive but gave it to me for the same price. So I buy it, go to a couple game stores and buy MLB 2K13, and College Hoops 2K8.
So I get home and set up the system and it starts up and shuts down about two seconds later. Did this every time I tried it. Naturally I get pretty pissed off.
So what really grinds my gears, is why was this system broken? Did they not test it? I highly doubt it just decided to break while sitting in the case waiting for someone to buy it. And it was an older system that the one I originally was gonna get but they didn't have the right plug.
Now I am wondering how they will handle this. I figure it's on them to make it right. I just want a working system for the price I paid. I think that's fair. No retail store, whether it be a cash advance store or not should sell a broken game system and not give you one that works in exchange.
And the worst part is they aren't open Sunday, so now I have to wait till Monday to take it back. So damn frustrating.
If you can't get a satisfactory unit, I'd encourage you to check out websites for video game stores. Sometimes they have deals especially on the older consoles.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I dunno, man. No need to go to a pawn shop when you can get the same price from a GameStop. I got a 250 or 500 gb (I forget) XBox 360 a few months ago for $70ish and it runs (and plays NCAA '14) like a dream. I doubt a pawn shop would test it out like a video game store would.

I checked GameStop, amazon, eBay, and some mom and pop game exchanges and the one at the pawn shop was the cheapest I found. Pretty much every other place had them for $100 or higher. I think there were a few 4GB systems that were around $70-80.
They made it right and I ended up coming out on top so it worked out.
I should clarify, I didn't actually go to gamestop so they may have had some for around the price I payed.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
It really probably just depends on the pawn shop. This one is a national chain called Cashland. So I'm sure they have to live up to some sort of standard.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I hate procrastinating despite the fact I do it way too often.
Today for example, I got like 5-6 diff things I need to do. Didn't even start 1 of them. Could've done some during this past week, but I was simply like "Don't worry, Saturday I got lots of time I can do it then". Saturday rolls around......Comment

I have a lot to add about this subject and will go into detail in just a bit...
