My wife waits until right before she goes to bed to say she has an appointment in the morning. Of course I say "Why didn't you say something earlier in the day?" And she will answer "Because I didn't get the chance to." Say what? We've been sitting here all day doing nothing and you didn't get a chance to. And this happens all the time.

Haha. I swear my wife has the conversation with me in her head. Then when she tells me last minute we are doing whatever it is she acts shocked that I don't know what's going on. And she'll swear she told me. Like be super stubborn about it too. I'm like if you tell me when I'm not here it doesn't count lol. I love her but sometimes man I just shake my head.

Just being honest I pay attention about half the time so my wife probably tells me the things she claims to and I just forget.

Figure I'll give my confession here as I hope my penance will be more forgiving.

See I thought this the first few times it happened but then it got to a point where I was like no way. I'd remember that conversation. I'm actually pretty observant for the most part. Unless I'm watching sports. Then she'd have a point.

This is 100% me. However, she's always talking to me while I'm playing video games. How much attention does she really expect me to pay?

My girl feels to tell me EVERYTHING that happens to her, her friends, her parents, etc, so idk how I am expected to remember every single thing. And she will only tell me once, meanwhile I try to periodically remind her of important things if they are coming up.

Seeing someone you see on occasion(but don't know personally) who looks just like your celebrity crush, but knowing they don't care enough to even bother engaging in any kind of conversation with you. Befriending them is likely out of the question, though I'd settle for facebook friends lol.

It's true what they say, never meet your idols (or anyone who looks like them) lol.

Also with my wife she tries to have a conversation with me when we are in different rooms. Now for some people that works but for me it doesn't because I have really bad hearing. I'm almost totally deaf in my left ear and my right side is better but not great. So I can hear her talking but can't understand a word she is saying and I have to tell her to hold on and go to where she is.

People talking [especially to me] in the bathroom. Public bathroom, the bathroom at home, and anything in between. I just can't stand it.

When you're talking to someone and they jump in with "I don't mean to cut you off but..." It's like "oh crap, who's holding that gun to your head and forcing you to interrupt me?!"

If it's an emergency or something that demands it, it's one thing. It's another when it's followed by something random...or worse, to end the conversation altogether. The wife pulled that on me last night. It was because someone else that she wanted to talk to came into the room so my phone call wasn't important. Always nice to know that there's at least a few people out there that can outrank me...helps keep me in line, I guess.

People just being lazy or inconsiderate. I was at Qdoba for lunch today around 12:30 on the University of Pittsburgh campus so you can imagine it's quite busy with a long line and the tables are pretty much full. Well, there was this one guy sitting at a 2-seat table who had apparently finished his meal and was working on schoolwork. C'mon man, it's fine if the place isn't busy, but when it's packed finish your food and leave so someone else can have the table. Then there was another 2-seat table where someone had apparently finished there food and left and left their garbage on the table for someone else to clean up.

Also, the Coke free style machine was out of Dr Pepper . . . again

Haha, literally happened to me tonight. Working on the computer downstairs (technically basement), wife is upstairs... which is around the corner, down a decent length hallway, up a staircase and in the kitchen.

Oh, I heard her, that’s not the problem. I was finishing something up. But she wouldn’t have been able to hear me because I don’t talk or yell that loudly (and rarely use that tone) and I know this from past experiences. I‘m not going to shout back at you from one corner of the house to the other, especially if you’re able to come talk to me face to face. I won’t even be upset if you text me/call me from upstairs to downstairs!

This actually is a “problem” in my life in general. I’m very observant... I can process oral or even non-verbal requests or cues without acknowledging them physically (head nod, eye contact, wave, thumbs up, whatever). I guess that’s on me, as people want to be sure they were heard or seen so their requests can be met. I actually understand that. But I’m a guy who sees things or anticipates things and just takes care of them without much adieu or fanfare. I’m a rarity, clearly. I just don’t feel like I’m doing anything beyond, just paying attention... it’s a blessing and a curse, obviously.

Having a long day(mentally) basically from moment I woke up. Coming home, thinking I can relax, then realizing I still got another 3-4 hours of being busy and heading out again.

Somehow in a 10+ hour span all I had was half a bowl of food and half a glass of water lol. There are days I can go most of it without eating or drinking much, others where I need to have alot. Thankfully this is one of those days I don't need much. The busier I am, the less hungry I get.

Watching movies on TV with all the commercials. I'm trying to watch John Wick and the commercials are driving me nuts. Not to mention they edit the movie to death. It's a good thing I like this movie.
