"I've never seen CRACK smoked so... OPENLY before!"

Anyhow... I move from TX to CA and CA decides to catch on fire. Great. Just great.

I am on the edge of the evacuation area. So far so good, but it could change at any time as winds are constantly shifting. So I could be on the move soon.

I was just about to type, "Anyone heard from BK?" as I know you live in that area. Good luck, man. I hope the Santa Ana's stop NOW.

              Take care,

The coverage down here is INSANE. Lots of fires burning right now. I don't know much else to say. I could see the Malibu fire from my school. Hopefully the smoke doesn't fully infiltrate the area though. I remember a few years ago, when I was still in HS, there were some ridiculous fires and there was ash all over the campus. It was disgusting.

Hopefully these things die out soon, but I don't know.

They are saying Santa Ana's until possibly Thursday. Problem is, the winds are so strong it's making it tough for the big fixed wing aircraft tankers to get up in the air. If this goes on until Thursday, there may be nothing left here.

I live in Irvine too. My power just went out about an hour ago. The airs a little smoky but its not that bad and basketball is canceled for a few days.

For all the guys down there, stay safe, and here's hoping that the fires can be gotten under control.

This will be the biggest issue... it can't really be contained. We may have to just let 'er burn.

That picture that I took looks nothing like what a new picture would look like of that same area right now.

                          Can you get another picture?

I'd like to see the difference.

It's just much darker, and the right side that you couldn't see in the picture is making the city become more and more faded, and disappearing.

The person I borrowed the camera from is gone right now. I'll get you guys another one though.

Yea it sucks right now, my mom lost a property in the S.D. area fires. My wifes co worker lost hers in the Santa Clarita area fires (so my wife says her co worker said).

This time of year sucks in So Cal. Santa Ana's combined with sick F's that start them (Wow MNF, makes a (40 year old virgin dude) house burning down reference before the game!).

F' it, on that note, I'm done with my post.
