My appendix as it was slowly dying. They wouldn't give me anything because they wanted to make sure it was getting worse and wasn't something else. Finally when my blood cell count went up significantly they finally admitted it was the appendix...knocked me out with some morphine...then woke me up in the morning to cut it out.
Those last couple hours though before the sweet narcotics was pure hell though.- The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.Comment

Mine probably makes me sound like a pansy, but believe me, it hurt like a *****. I had just gotten to Florida for vacation and the moment that I walked into the hotel room I started to experience severe pain in my abdominal area. Turns out it was absolutely terrible blockage in my intestines. I began that vacation sitting on the can for a half hour, wanting to kill myself, before anything came out.Comment

After they took my appendix out, the next morning I couldn't go to the bathroom and the IV I had been given gave me so much liquids that my bladder felt like it was going to pop, which was was the main reason I was in so much pain. So since I couldn't go to the bathroom she had to put a catheder (sp?) in. Yeah, that didn't feel to hot as she jammed that thing in there.Comment

I would say getting smashed on the mouth by a metal baseball bat, which then caused my head to whip back and smash into a metal pole... But I didn't feel a thing, I was out cold on my feet.
Honestly... Pain that I felt... Probably the shattered tooth that exposed all of the root. My entire face was in agony for a week until I could get in to get it pulled.Comment

I would require anyone shoving anything up my hoohah to knock me the hell out first, using anesthesia, other sedatives or just plain socking the **** out of me.Comment

when i was 11 i was swinging on a swing set and one of the chains broke and i came down at an angle which shattered my left leg. and i mean shattered. the xray showed jusy pieces of bone. my leg was bending in the middle of my shin as if there was a joint there. The pain was unreal especially that night trying to sleep.Comment

Strep tests aren't that bad.
When I was playing basketball I caught an elbow right in the mouth. My front tooth went completely through my lip, as in there was a whole in my lip! It hurt so bad. I couldn't open my mouth because my lip was stuck to my teeth. Blood was everywhere. I didn't exactly know what had happened at first. They stopped play and everyone just looked at me. The look on other people's faces is what scared me. They looked at me like Holy ****.
Thankfully my doctor did a good job of stitching me up. You can't even really tell where the scar is.***My Teams***

I have two the first one was freshman year of high school in our first scrimmage. I was playing DB and I was backpeddling just about to turn and cover a WR and our feet got tangled up. I fell down backwards with my hands out to like brace the fall. We'll the reciever fell right onto my right shoulder driving my wrist and hand into the ground. Which proceded to break my wrist in 3 places and then i was told by the Brighton High School trainer because ours werent there yet that i didnt break anything. So i sat for about an hour and half with no pain medication just ice waiting to get it checked out.
The second would be like 3 months ago I had walking pnuemonia which I guess causes your lungs to expand which in turn makes them rub against ur rib cage. That sucked couldnt walk,breath,sleep or do anything without my whole chest feeling on fire.Comment

I've had pneumonia 2-3 times before; that was horrible.

Broke my little toe. Running through the house to answer the phone and hit the bedroom door frame full force with my little toe. While that hurt, the most pain in that injury occurred later that night while I was sleeping. I got out of bed to use the bathroom and hit the little toe on one of my shoes on the ground. No joke, it hurt worse than breaking it did.
Snapped a bone in my wrist hitting a heavy bag (bad form and drunk on top of it!). Went to sleep that night and woke up and couldn't move my wrist at all. I thought maybe I only sprained it, but it was broken.
Bruised tailbone. Fell 8 feet and my tailbone slammed down on the concrete. Could not sit down or stand up very well for 1 or 2 weeks.Comment
