Thats up to them, but both times it has been one of my friends getting called that and going in and fighting. I can't just let them go down like that when they were so outnumbered. Both times I went to go get them as best I could and tried to get them out of there and calm down. None of that is me being the problem at all which you have tried to point out so many times.

Never said college was any different than it was 20 years ago, so you really aren't "breaking a new phenomena", don't really get the smart*** way you put it but alright...

Well then tell them to hold back and stop fighting. If they choose not to they're not your friends.

No time for that, once it was said there was nothing I could do until the fighting started, again, talking on things you don't know much about. I wasn't asking for advice, I was seeing if anyone was dealing with the same sort of things.....

I'm a minority too. That word is disigned to put us down and to piss us off. That's why we don't want do fight over it.

Yeah, it was more the intoxication of the guys that said the word on that night however, they were slaaaaamed. My friend and I were just heading out to party so we had only pre-gamed and weren't very intoxicated.

Yeah, it's tough to tell others how to act in those situations though. I am sure he didn't know how he was going to act until he was confronted with the situation. I am sure after what happened that now he will be a little bit more leveled headed if someone says something similar another time...

Well just try to make them have better judgement next time. If this continues you have to make a choice.

Nothing wrong with having your boy's back in a fight. If one of my fraternity brothers is outnumbered, you're damn right I'm going to jump in and try to prevent it from escalating.

Luckily, I haven't had to do that since we're a laid back group that doesn't get a kick out of starting ****.

Best piece of advice for people who drink at parties(or go to parties where people are drinking), "Don't start no ****, Won't be no ****."

I agree with that, I am just banking on the fact that I am just getting unlucky and it will change soon enough. I am on break for a month now so I won't be getting into scraps with much around here.

Make sure that women you are focusing on doesnt already have a man, cause I have seen that lead to numerous fights.
