    Re: Trukz

I'm going to start sending the new drivers in the game a PM to join our company. So far I've sent out 6. Here's the message I'm sending them...

"Join OS Trucking, Incorporated. We're a growing company with a very low collection percentage so you can build up cash quickly. We also provide a nice repair and fuel discount as well. So join one of the fastest rising companies in Trukz!"

Any suggestions for another terminal? Where does everyone go, or do we all just follow the big PPM routes each week? Does anyone go up North much?

I've been posting on other forums I go on, and I'm still bugging people at work about it. Doesn't seem to be going very well, but hey, even if we get one person, it's better than nothing.

You would think, but it doesn't seem to be working very well. We're down to 10 active members now.

Sounds good to me. Nice job.

Anyone have any idea how to go about putting something like this together?

Found it on the trukz forum, someone said he put together a little excel program, and with some copy and pasting from the Trukz website, it spits what's below. This is what he got from the last cargo change.

Thought I'd bring it up as the trukz load assist page isn't updated quite yet and something like this would come in very handy in general.

Are we waiting to purchase an item for the company or something? We should be getting close to being able to buy a truck purchase discount I think.

Anyone realize the Trukz Load assist page has not been updated.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to find the best routes?

I don't have an issue with purchasing something for the company. Just been one of those weeks for me and I haven't had much time sit down and mess with the game.

Looks like we need about $6,000 to purchase something.

Yeah, I noticed it. No idea where to find the best routes. I've just been using the in game statistics and looking for the items that have the best demand.

Since the load assist page crapped out, I discovered this.....

This is the cargo page within the game statistics (and is where they get the info for the load assist stuff).

The best cargos have a red asterisk next to them. I'm assuming you guys will figure it out from there. Right now I am running a Houston to El Paso (gasoline $1.22/mile I think) route, followed by El Paso to New Orleans (clothing $.73/mile), then NO back to Houston (cargo doesn't matter $.56/mile) then repeat. Best loop I could come up with given the limited tools available right now. I have NO set as my home city, so that also allows me to save a turn on refueling and repairing.

Good idea on trying to recruit.

On the terminal thing, I would probably wait on that....we have a pretty good hold on the south right now, and with only 10 drivers not sure it is worth the hit everyone will take on stocks at the moment.

load assist wasn't working again, but Monterrey to El Paso with cardboard is the best route right now according to my calculations (I'm going to get $1.48 per mile, but I just added the double trailer so that is higher than those without the double trailer). I was already in Dallas, so I didn't have far to go to get to Monterrey.

Next leg will either be right back to Monterrey or a detour to Houston...I'll figure out what makes more sense once I get to El Paso tonight or tomorrow am. Hopefully load assist is updated by then.

That's because they did away with the stocks portion of the game. I'm actually a little pissed, because I was making an additional $500-1000 per day buying and selling the $10 stocks (although I did have a bunch of money tied up in the stock market to do that). I do want to buy a better truck again (should have the $30k volvo sometime this week), but not sure how much longer this is going to have legs for me. May as well spend the money we have saved up in the company as well now on additional terminals, seeing as there will be no stock hit after the purchase.
