Did mine and my wife's and we're getting back around $900 as well. Much better than paying $1800 like we had to last year.

I did mine today using taxact.com. I expect the State refund within a week and the federal to follow shortly after. That's generally how it works for me. Only costs me 13.95 to e-file my state and federal is free to e-file.

The only thing I can think of (my mom won't have the processing until today either, but I got accepted real quick) is that the laws effect people with dependents.

I don't what the rules are for you. I thought the only hold up was that alternative tax deal but that didn't apply to me. I did mine in Turbo Tax, submitted it, it was accepted, and now I'm $1600 richer
