Anyway, screw Joe. But John also did a messed up thing. I think Joe should be upset but it should be something the two of them hammered out and cleaned up that moment. It shouldn't be something that Joe just says, "I hate you, you're not in my wedding anymore."

But it's a difficult thing. Is the wedding close? If not, they'll probably make up soon.

How is someone supposed to be your "best" friend, yet he has no issue with going behind your back like that?

What happens when you come home one day and he's at your place waiting for you (completely innocent in this case)? Could you completely trust him around your wife after what had happened in the past?

That guy would immediately get relegated from best friend to acquaintance.

Sums it all right here. My boy was dating my girl while I was dating her. He told me like the day after because we were so tight. I understood because they were soo close. She was trying to flip out on me about it. However, it worked itself out. We each still talk and we're cool. I have trust in my friend because he would come up and tell me something like that.

On another note, WHY did Joe and that ex part ways after the 2 months? If John was partially a reason and if Joe really was feeling this female, then that opens up even more conflict and problems.

It's a matter of trust, exactly. Bros before hoes. If it's happened once, it's pretty likely it could happen again. Obviously this guy doesn't care enough about your friendship to back down. When he made out with that girl he did so knowing it might end their friendship, and yet he still did it. Pretty telling, IMO.

Thanks "Joe" for giving us Joe's a bad name. I'd have a hard time trusting him, but at the same time we all make mistakes, and everyone deserves a 2nd chance. Also if this happened in high school or something like that I'd really try and trust him. Everyone cheats on everyone in high school its what we did. Dated, broke up, Dated, broke up, cheated, Dated again, and broke up.

                              John's a piece of ****.

You NEVER do ANYTHING with your best bud's ex-girlfriend. No matter how long they went out, no matter how serious they were, no matter how long ago was.

                              You NEVER cross that line.

EDIT: Wow, even worse. John did that while Joe was going out with the chick? Unbelievable.

                                Re: Would you be mad?

This is one of those things that technically shouldn't matter (because they all have moved on, to the point of marrying another girl), but still does just because it's like a broken trust thing.

I'd say it would hinge on a few things. How long ago it was? How involved that relationship was? How long that relationship was? Is John gay? Joe's opinion of that girl? What the **** John you ****ing *******?

Joe can do whatever he wants.
