My dad just called saying "Do you want to join us go for a steak?" My parents go once in a while to a nice place about 2 miles from here and have there steak, humus etc... The thing is they don't have fries there! Never had nvere will. It's called something like "Asa Steakhouse" and my dad says they've been there for years, maybe since the 60's. I do like their steaks but my wife is making some pasta and schnitzel, so we passed. Of course it's just an excuse for my parents to see me...

Steaks are better with veggies, not fries.

I finally have a good job lead again. The pay actually wouldn't be bad and the benefits are a-m-a-z-i-n-g. It would be outside of my "expertise" and experience but I can learn. I would accept the position in a heart beat. It is strange I interviewed back in January and wasn't offered a second interview. However this time it is with a different office and they told me to get in touch now that I've been sworn in.

It is so nice to finally be an attorney, but there is so much I need to do right now. I need to set up an IOLTA account so I can start my own practice and of course find some malpractice insurance if the job doesn't work out. I may have my first client and it could pay well. I may need to go find help on something and split the case, but it's a start.

I really, really thought this case would go the other way, but was a 5-4 decision. Maybe we'll get lucky and one of these bleeding heart liberals will leave the court before Bush's presidency is over so this can be remedied relatively quickly.

The only reason why I'm in favor of this ruling is because of the story about the man going to jail for "raping" the young girl that told him she was over 18. The man wasn't trying to rape her and even went to her father to apologize for the act because he was unaware of her age.

Now, perhaps, that's a bit different then the rape in this decision, but are you suggesting that the man be executed?

Because I don't think the court really sees a difference between 13 and 5. They are children no matter and either way it's rape. And while one may be purposely raping a 5 year old for abusive reasons and deserves to die for his actions, the other may be raping a 13 year old because she looked 18 and he just wasn't smart enough to figure it out.

Perhaps I'm missing something here?

We didn't go woth my parents, but the never let us pay. Either way, it's not a fance place, just a steakhouse at a gas station, but we really love this place. There's basically no fries, veggies or whatever there. Only salads, humus, pitta, picklses, grilled onion etc. But their meat it THE BEST! Yep, great stuff!
Oh, and instead of schnitzel I had hotdogs, fries and penne (you know, that pasta tubes). Was great

Oh yeah, forgot that next week is your independence day! Did you know that on our independence day people put flags at the windows and on their cars? And just to let you know that a lot of people put the Israeli flag along with the US flag. How about that?!
