Well damn, this is awesome.

My best friend from my childhood was given a scholarship to UConn last year to play football (he's a kicker), but spent all last year and the beginning of this season behind a then senior/now fifth-year senior.

Then came UConn's 12-10 loss to Rutgers where that kicker missed 3 field goals. I had stopped paying attention, so I didn't find out until today...but in the Huskie's October 25th game against Cincy, Dave Teggart (my friend) kicked 4 field goals including a 47 yarder into the win and 4 extra points.

He's been their kicker since, and in the two games they've played he's 6 for 6 in FGs and 5 for 5 in XPs.

Just thought it was pretty f'n cool.

Yea he's been really good.

I know he got Big East special teams player of the week in the Cinci game, maybe WVU too.

He's made a huge difference. If he would have been in against Rutgers, the Huskies would be 7-2 (3-1) right now instead of being 6-3 (2-2).

Can one of you tech dudes tell me how I can burn a movie to a DVD and have it play in MOST DVD players? Because right now, anything I download and burn to a DVD, it only plays on my XBOX. What burning program do I need to download to correctly burn it so it can play in majority of DVD PLayers?

Going to go play basketball for the first time in about 2 months. Should be interesting...I'm starting my training for the intramural basketball season. I'm hoping that I should be back to full speed by the time the season starts.

Hmm..so this isn't good. My mom decided to co-sign and that still wasn't enough to get a loan. So right now, I have no idea how I'm going to come up with $2300 before January 1st.

Pretty good weekend. Was able to get plenty of gaming in and also got stuff done around the house (and no Browns game to ruin my Sunday!).

Now that I've got my sliders just about right and am using the Outsiders roster set, I'm really liking NBA 2k9. Had some really good games this weekend. Gonna try to start my Cavs association this week.
