Re: OS Off Topic
well, sort of. It's like artists that aren't considered mainstream whether by records sold or recognition. A simple rule to go by is if you hear it on the radio, it's not underground, though there are a few exceptions.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: OS Off Topic
Generally speaking 'underground' artists rap about a different subject matter than their commercial brethren. Songs focus more on personal issues, politics, relationships, and philosophy, and tend to be more introspective and self-critical. However, underground hip hop also has roots in battle rapping, and "****-talk" songs are quite common, as many underground rappers display the egoism and braggadocio common to rap music. Underground production tend to be diverse, drawing on such musical styles as jazz, funk, electronica, and techno, as well as more traditional hip-hop for beats. The music can also be more lyrically diverse and have less repetition than mainstream rap. Some artists also avoid lyrics that are violent, or misogynistic."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
"Beware of geeks bearing formulas." - Warren BuffetComment

Re: OS Off Topic
So during the last 2 weeks we've been designing at wotk some signs and other brandings for a local financial convention, that's part of what we do. My boss decided that I should go there and see how everything looks, though I didn't feel like going there. So I went there today at 10am and it was pretty nice - looked very good, it's nice to see the outcome of what u do - such as huge signs, walls and brochures, but there were so many people and I really don't like to be around many people, it makes me feel bad. That's why I don't go to live concerts, basketball games or exhibitions - I can't stand huge crowd. It's been like that for years but only in the past 7-8 years I realized that that's the way I am.My Specs:

Re: OS Off Topic
oh the joys of owning a used car. I had to replace the weather stripping around my windshield as well as get new wipers because the strips fell off them and the metal was scraping my windshield. Then my tire explodes because the previous owner never rotated the tires and the dealership failed to tell me that.
Now a knob has fallen off my console so that I can adjust my airflow anymore. It's the knob that adjust whether you have feet and chest air or just chest air or defrost or defrost and feet air. It is permanently stuck on defrost which would be good if it was raining or something, but it sucks when I gotta drive home from work and it's hot outside, I mean I like driving with the windows down but sometimes windows up with AC is just the way to go.
Oh yeah and the motor for my passenger side window is about a month or two from dying. That's sweet.Lux y VeritasComment
