Yesterday the Mrs. and I went to see Journey to the Center of the Earth (but without the 3D glasses and stuff because that theatre doesn't have it). It was a really fun movie to watch and we really enjoyed it. If anyone here is a Photoshop CS2 user, if you have a bit of imagination - you can see the PS CS2 logo on the last second of the movie

Any of you guys with a wife or significant other ever catch heat for growing a beard or facial hair? Ive got the "countdown to football beard" (Distant cousin of the playoff beard) and my wife hates it. Itll be gone soon, but its been about 3 weeks and its pretty friggin awesome.
Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

You too can be a 5* recruit at FSU.......

I can't really grow a beard, but lately I stated shaving every two weeks. As for my wife, she always says she loves me either way, she doesn't really see what's wrong with me growing facial hair. When I tell her I gotta shave, she usually says "Nahh, it's not that bad. I love you with or without it".

Exact opposite for me, when I cut my facial hair (okay, I screwed up trimming it) my wife got mad. I have a wicked babyface if I don't have facial hair, the past couple of weeks I've grown a small beard. My wife seems to like and I think it it looks good on me.

My wife wouldn't divorce me, I'd make sure it cost her too damned much with frivolous motion after frivolous motion.

I am watching this show on BBC America called Dragon's Den, basically some would be entrepreneurs ask some rich blokes for money. The first one is some guy who owns a "castle" and I lose even the parenthesis "castle" loosely and he wants to turn it into time shares that run from 60-90,000 pounds ($120k-$180k?) for a week in this ruin. Thankfully they are turning him down.

              Certainly an interesting show.

I decided to make my own blueberry vodka and berry infused vodka. I took some cheap *** vodka and put it through a Brita filter to make it taste a little berry. Then we smashed up some berries and put them in the bottle. It's been sitting for a week. The Blueberry/Raspberry/Blackberry one came out awesome. The blueberry came out alright and I my father-in-law loved the raspberry one.

I gotta say, if you let blueberries sit in vodka for a week in the freezer and then eat them, damn they pack a punch like Mike Tyson.

Canada has their own version of the show. (it's interesting how shows like this and American Idol can be internationalized with "local" versions. I believe the original DD came from Japan) and it's pretty good. I find the judges to be really harsh at times but the entrepreneurs deserve it most of the time as they have an over inflated view of how well their product will sell in the marketplace.

I'm gonna try and watch the British version and see how different it may be.

So, today was the first time I've ever really had the urge to choke an old lady out. Her & her awful husband apparently make it a habit of coming into our PetSmart, finding the littlest thing that is wrong, and then complaining to managers and corporate about it. Well, today was my turn to deal with them. The husband started yelling because he couldn't find the proper price sticker for a littler box (corporate's fault because they sent guys out to "flip" the cat section and they forgot to label some stuff). And then the mustaschioed bitch of a wife starts on this tangent with me:

"I want you to tell me what litter pan liners go with this litter box and if you don't know, just get someone who will know and don't waste my time otherwise"

So I show her some and she starts bitching at me because she doesn't like drawstrings, even though 95% of the litter liners are drawstrings. So she literally starts yelling at me about it and it took every bit of strength in my body to not just let the obscenities fly because she had no right to get on my case. But instead, I interupted her and wouldn't let her talk and got firm with her and finally found the liners made specifically for the box she found. Then her and her wonderful husband went over to the manager and started yelling at her before she could even get a word out.

Turns out this is the second day in a row she has done this and the managers are just about ready to kill these two

I would show no emotion and give her a monotone response.

My patience goes on for days...I don't get upset unless somebody really does something serious.

I would just **** with them...be super nice and fake.

So, I've always known I had an immense fear of heights - it's why I've only went on one roller coaster my entire life - but I've never really had to deal with the fear, or face it. Until last night.

I go to the Kenny Chesney/Keith Urban concert last night at Gilette stadium with my sister and two people from work. Our tickets were in the 25th row in the 300's of the stadium. That is the second highest row you can get in the stadium and literally...I could not move. Couldn't talk, couldn't move my arms or legs, could barely even breathe. It was, without a doubt, the scariest thing and the worst feeling I have ever had in my life.

Ended up spending the rest of the concert (luckily the three people I went with were all understanding) on the standing-room-only section the level below. It was still fun...but holy **** I was scared out of my mind.

Literally...I felt like if I moved my arm I was somehow going to plunge down onto the cement below.

It didn't help that the section was ****ing steep as hell, as well.
