I'm really pissed. Our entire staff is at the Baseball Winter Meetings in Vegas ALL WEEK EXCEPT FOR ME. I should be there. I'm the only one that isn't going. Instead, I'll be the only one in the office while the rest of my staff drinks all day and hangs out with baseball bigwigs. ****ing unbelievable.

To make you feel better the Baseball Winter Meetings aren't what they used to be. Back in the '70s and '80s the meetings were dominated by old guard GMs who'd sit in the bars and drink themselves silly and telling great stories about the game.

Nowadays the meetings are basically a corporate schmoozefest.

A week in Vegas...hotel, flight, food, and 1/2 drinks paid for...nice gala dinners. Gambling. God knows what else with our staff. Instead, I'll be doing sales all week. FUN FUN.
