My wife and I had this debate last night while brushing our teeth. She seems to think that this is at least 50/50 if not in favor of her preference. So which do you use?

I use warm, but no idea why... I want to say I rinse my toothbrush under warm/hot water but when I am done I rinse my mouth with cold...

it's weird something I do once every two days and I can't remember how I do it.

cold water because I'm not going to sit there and let the water warm up.

This is my reasoning. It takes my water 15-20 seconds to warm up sometimes.

I posted warm, but mostly lukewarm...I let the water heat up while I'm brushing (can take a while to get to my half-bath off my bedroom (1 1/2 bath condo I'm renting), and I like the hotter water to rinse out and clean off the toothbrush.
