$4.39 regular, southeastern California in the desert. Diesel is $5.11.

Across the border in Mexico (Mexicali), 15 miles from here, $2.85. Glad my wife goes there every Friday and Monday.

My wife just bought a Toyota Yaris last year, tough little car, great on gas. When she bought it at the end of June last year the price to fill it up was between $18-$20, today it was $44. Total BS.

Heck, the gas around christmas time here in Oregon was under $3.00 and now it's over $4.

The range in Nashville is now $3.73 and $4.09. I live in Hermitage, and it's at $3.85 now and looking to climb even more. When are we gonna understand that nothing's going to solve this problem immediately?

I have a 95 Toyota Corolla that I've had since day 1. When we bought it, it was only 11 to 13 dollars to fill it. Now it takes 40 dollars to fill it up. Oh yea, I just paid 3.91 a gallon now.

I talk regularly from people from the U.K., and they're well over $10/gal now.

Yeah, that's what I hear. It could be like that too if Congress passes that cap and trade tax and the dollar continues to lose value...

And Congress just denied opening up ANWR again. Congress makes me sick. Then they go out and blame the oil companies when they won't open up oil reserves and are proposing legislation that would raise gas prices by $1.50 (Cap and Trade).

I believe the state tax here in California is 58 cents a gallon. Just the state tax.

The only thing our government can do is spend. They haven't a clue otherwise. A few years ago the Speaker of the House said her party had a "sensible solution" to the energy problems.

Still waiting on all these people.

I got gas today at an Arco for $4.45.

I passed by a Shell station a couple days ago that was at $5.25.

Tomorrow (at least around here) is a free transit day to help save oil or something.

                            Re: So.....Whats your gas at??

Our fuel here in Australia just jumped to $1.70 Australian per litre (3.7 litres to the gallon and the Aust dollar is worth about 94US cents at the moment). So that means we are currently paying the equivalent of just under $6 per gallon so you guys have got it easy.

Just filled up yesterday and it cost me a shade over $80US at the current exchange rate.

And apparently things are only going to get worse.

I'm not sure if its the same in the US as it it is here (i'm assuming it is) where there is constant bickering between the political parties about the cost of fuel etc. While i hate that fuel is costing so much what do people think is going to happen to a finite resource. It's not like having less of it (which we do to the tune of some 800 million barrells of oil per day) is going to drive the price down now is it?
