Living in LA, I can only hope gas prices get high enough where people realize they shouldn't be driving unless they absolutely freakin' have to. Maybe, just maybe, the traffic situation will be relieved and I'll be able to drive without feeling the undeniable urge to bash the brains of all the other morons I'm sharing the road with.Comment

Re: So.....Whats your gas at??
You think gas is high now, wait 'till next year. Check out this:
Yes, a possible $1.50 increase in the price of gas over global warming, something that is not even provable that it is caused by man considering we only generate like 3% of the total carbon dioxide per year. Besides, haven't we always had global warming and global cooling with prior ice age(s)?
It won't pass this year since Bush would surely veto it. However, it should pass next year since, even if McCain wins, he is a liberal Republican and would probably go for the bill. If a Democrat wins, then it will pass for sure. Besides, the Democrats may get veto power next year anyways if they get 2/3 of the Senate and House. Plus, some Republicans even support it. Nice how your lawmakers slip things behind your back, isn't it?Last edited by superjames1992; 06-03-2008, 04:04 PM.Comment

Re: So.....Whats your gas at??
The other day on my way to school it was $4.39. Then on the way back home it was up to $4.51 and it stayed there today. This is getting insane.Comment
