If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: So.....Whats your gas at??
we are always going to depend on foreign oil somewhat, but we need to produce more HERE also. We can lessen our dependence some...but with all of the restrictions, and refusal to tap certain areas, it is difficult. Demand keeps going up around the world, but supply in this country is decreasing.
It's funny listening to certain people in congress postering and acting like "big oil" is the problem and threatening to "get tough on them". People dont realize that "getting tough" on domestic oil companies decreases supply and raises the price even more.
Perhaps congress can lower the federal tax and the money they get? yea right, i dont see them doing that either. They will blame everyone else but wont do anything about the problem themselves. The problem has been getting worse since '06. A lot of the environmental restrictions are absolutely a good idea obviously...however, many of the stuff they do is unnecessary. They act like they have no idea about energy.
btw, who was it that shot down the idea of opening a nuclear plant? They spent all of this money to build it, and then someone in congress shot it down. Stuff like that happens constantly. It's all talk. They blame everyone else, but like to sit around collecting taxes from the people that they are criticizing (that actually work to produce oil)...and they wont do anything about it themselves. The federal gas taxes would absolutely help the problem, but they wont touch that.Last edited by ZB9; 04-29-2008, 06:10 PM.Comment
