Well that is no good.

No injuries but the whole situation seems like it would be a bad place to put a newscrew.

Maybe it's just me, but I think news groups that go into warzones and hostile countries (see the Burma incident earlier this year) should be eligible for the Darwin Awards.

This big country vs. little country stuff doesn't really worry me that much. These things flare up and it seems like the major powers just kinda turn towards the two countries and go "Why are you two even bothering? One of you is going to look like a bully and the other is going to look foolish for trying trying to win an unwinnable battle. Just stop it." And then slowly but surely, things stop

I was thinking Ghost Recon, that game's storyline was almost exactly the same as this situation. They even got the year right.

While I've never volunteered to go to a warzone during my time as a news cameraman, I do know that the hazard pay is Ridiculous.

That being said, my life is more valuable than a piece of video. :wink:
