Ehh, it happens around big releases all the time. They go away.

In this world, you should be used to drowning out the clutter and crap that is all around us non stop.

Maybe im just better at it cause I live in chicago.

If you have the Devs come to a forum where only donators/supporters are allowed all hell is going to break loose. With all the EA hate it's going to look like OS is bed with them and are charging people to talk to them.

I'll just continue to wait out all of the noobies and ignore all of the threads that look like their filled with BS. The only problem I really have with it is that it knocks some decent threads off the first page that I might forget about if their not bumped or contributed to.

That and when good threads are FUBAR'd. Like when RACZILLA started the 'Feedback on EA Community Leaders Program' thread in the Madden forum. Man did that ever go downhill quickly...

Yup. That's when the Mods need to intervene asap but I know it's a hard job babysitting.

A thread idea that I really like and think should be done more often is TDJ's Madden Bugs & Glitches thread where it's locked, all his posts are in a user-friendly format, and there is no clutter. I wish all of the game forums had something similar although I can imagine his PM box must be under attack.

I have to admit that I think the stupid posts from idiots are one thing but the guys with 10,000+ posts who post things in these threads are the ones that bother me.

Yeah we get it you think you are great because you post in a million threads and know when things are going to get locked up but really all you guys end up doing is creating most of the confrontation.

Anyway I can remember the old days when moderators were rare and idiot posts were idiot posts and they disappeared because no one responded to them. Now it seems these posts are bumped up by the very people who are OS regulars.

Just my two cents

Side note: I got flagged for talking "race" in a thread about Matt Jones. I remember back in the day when you could actually talk about serious stuff on here. Nowadays it seems that instead of good discussion like that we have 100 regular OS'ers jumping in there saying stuff about this thread being locked...etc

That is what frustrates me. Not 14 year old who can't figure out how to play madden.

Well, race is a no-no due to the TOS. So I would jump in there and let the OP know it's not a good idea.

Obviously you are entitled to you opinion. Although, the reason certain boards get cluttered are because of little timmy being upset and wanting EA to answer to his every call. Or some wonderful OS member who decides to post about how much he cannot stand Madden, EA or anyone affiliated with balls.

Thats what annoys me, people don't think before they post, or maybe before they leave their home. If people would just cut down on the nonsense posts then the people with "10,000+ posts" wouldn't go in those threads, and attempt to make people look/feel stupid. Even though they do a hell of a job on their own.
