Re: So what's the weather like where you live?

Worst ****ing winter of my life. (minus the days where I've gotten to snowmobile)

Straight up blizzard driving home from work last night. There were a few times where I had to completely stop because I couldn't see past the front of my car.

We probably got 10 inches total last night. It's getting to the point where there's just nowhere to put all this snow...

I stood in a snow drift up to my knees clearing off my car. I think they're saying 15 inches in my neighborhood. Can't really tell because the wind just drifted it up everywhere.

Same thing here. Didn't see that coming consider they say a slight chance of a storm later today and then all of a sudden I get a Tornado Watch alert. Ugh Meteorologist.

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?

After the line of storms this morning, we're in the upper 50s now. Looks like low to mid 60s for highs over the next few days with lows in the 30s and lows in the mid 20s before a return to colder weather next week with highs back down into the 40s and maybe a chance at a winter storm during the February 28th-March 2nd period.

We're starting to get in that period where average highs are creeping up into the mid 50s and average lows creep above freezing.

Yeah, that cold snap could bring some snow or ice, then back up to these recent temps.

I'm feeling maybe one more snow of significance, then full spring mode. Hopefully we have a spring. Seems like it transitions so damn quick from cold to hot without ever touching mild.

I feel for the OS brothers in MN that had those blizzard conditions, we had just a dusting of snow, but have the winds.

I see the thermometer will reach a balmy 21 degrees by Wednesday. Nice.

                  March?

The Weather Climate Prediction Center has March, April and May below normal temperatures.

I hope the heck they are wrong.

I'm a broken record, I know, but tonight is supposed to be an all time low, around -15. I set the thermostat to 80 when I went to bed, knowing it wouldn't be able to keep up, but wanted to make sure it ran all night. Woke up and it was 58 inside

So looks like I'll have no school again.

Supposed to be around at least -10 tomorrow morning. I might be going to school until July if this keeps up.

It was a struggle, but the afternoon high temperature managed to reach 0 degrees. Meteorlogical winter ends tomorrow. There is a chance that this will be the coldest winter here in recorded history in terms of average temperature. Definitely going to be number 2 on the list, but flirting with the winter of 1874-75.

Blizzard........came out of no where. One minute it was clear and sunny. Few minutes later, dark, windy and very hard snow falling. Turned into a white out.

Back into the deep freeze today/tomorrow. Supposed to get back up to around freezing over the weekend (though normal high is around 42 this time of year) but possibility of significant (6" +) snowfall on Monday. Been a cold snowy winter here too as the city and many surrounding municipalities have been dealing with salt shortages.

The great winter of 1874 huh? I remember it like it was yesterday...

Back to cold here for the next few days, and stretching through the next two weeks. Going to the beach for St. Patrick's Day, hopefully it warms up a little bit. Last year it was like 70 a week before. Snowed a little bit when we were down there, of course.

I just don't want any wind. Wind is the devil sneezing.
