A nice 60 degrees today, but still not enough to melt all the snow yet.

Finally getting some good melting happening.

At the height of the snow pack in our front yard, there was the very tip of the top of a bush peeking out, so it has been kind of like a ruler over the last few days, as more and more of the bush has become exposed.

We've lost about 5 inches of snow in the last few days!

Hell of a storm here. I'm without power as are over 3/4th of the people in my area. I have over 2" of glacier (mixed snow/sleet/freezing rain) on the yard and a lot of ice accretion in the trees with gusty winds earlier. This is the worst ice storm in a decade and maybe longer in my immediate area.

Just got power back on late this afternoon after about 60 hours of being in the dark. A bit better than I expected... The big warmup after the storm certainly helped the road crews fix the lines, though there's still thousands without power here.

Cold, low 20s and it suppose to snow over night. I swear Vermont don't have a spring. We have summer, fall and a long winter.

Great weekend which was good for us. 60 degrees and got the baby room finished and wife's baby shower is over.

Heard a possible snow storm coming so I guess back to cold

Same thing here in MD but I believe they called off our snow for Wednesday. Last I saw Wednesday now say Thunderstorms.

Yeah, especially with how cold winter has been, today feels like friggin' summer and it's not even 50 here. Then by Wednesday night we're calling for all time record lows

Yeah temps here have been enjoyable, were getting a coating on Wednesday night but then back to these temps again.

I'm not one of those who have been cursing this winter, it's actually been nice to have it feel like winter during winter with all the snow events. But yeah, I'm gearing up for spring. It's becoming that time of year.

41F right now, which means that the piles of snows we have here are melting slowly. But it's going to be 14F tonight (generally below the freezing mark for the rest of the week). So, hello...ICE! I don't like it at all. There are 2 times in the year that I don't like: when the snow is melting, and when summer is upon us.

If there was a way to have decent weather in the summer (on the cooler side) while still having snow here and there on the ground, I would be very happy.

Worked last night. Felt like a spring night which was nice with no jacket. Storms Wednesday expected to bring huge cool down.
