24 degrees and not much snow on the ground
Compared to what others are going through we have had a pretty easy winter so far.
It's not over yet though................

We now have about 8 inches of snow with 4 more coming.......glad I realized winter is still not over

So we're supposed to get either 1-2 or 2-4 more inches tonight...then blowing snow tomorrow.

Still holding out hope for no classes tomorrow...not lookin good though.

That pocket of warm air made it far enough north that we're only supposed to get 4-5 inches (down from 6-10 earlier). Only a thin coating at best right now. The bigger concern is the wind taking down more snow laden tree limbs and powerlines and causing more power outages.

The southern storm on tap for Friday is certainly looking very interesting.

If the models keep trending north, North Carolina is certainly in the game. As it stands now, places like Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA could get historic snowfalls. Of course, the key word there is could, but the potential is certainly there.<input id="*******" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">

Close to a ft of snow in SE Wisconsin with higher drifts. We were out 3.5 times with the snowblower. (.5 times being a nice hubby and making a lane in the driveway for my wife on the way home from work)

This is nothing for Wisconsin people. Actually, it was pretty dry here in January. For an El Nino winter, this was an unusual storm.

Most of our snow came from lake effect from Lake Michigan. It's unusual to have a NE wind for our snows. That is why a lot of snow is on the Michigan side in the winter.

Storm pretty much in died in Cleveland by dinner time. Only schools to the west and south are closed today. My wife had school, so I am at work instead of working at home.

sorry dude.. right now while it is snowing here, not quite that bad yet.. though just heard that now the snow, at least for LI, will be less than what they originally said

Well, I just heard that Yonkers is suppose to get more then what the thought, there saying 12-18 inches now.

So far 12" of fresh snow, but it's not supposed to end until later tonight. The problem is high high wind gusts blowing snow everywhere. There's just no fight left in me. I've shoveled three times since Lost ended last night.

It's been on and off snow here in Brooklyn since morning, and when it's been on, it's been pretty serious.

Some of the news channels are using "Snowmagedden". This is freaking insane. Pittsburgh is already 10+ inches above normal snowfall for the entire season thanks to this past week. I think all the snow and ice is playing havoc with my internet connection too as it has been rather spotty since last night.
