So not only are we going to get hammered with snow, perhaps 1-2 feet, but we will also have 50 MPH wind gusts and the wind chill will be 0 to -15.

Supposed to get about 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow/tomorrow night, and a little more Monday.

Saying that, will only get about an inch, if that. Whatever the weather channel says, the exact opposite happens.

Finally got some snow tonight. Unfortunately it's only about 1.5" and it's not really sticking to the ground. Better than nothing I suppose.

We got lots of snow falling in the SW NC/NW GA/NW SC mountains.

Meanwhile, I, at a measly 900 ft. in elevation, prepare for 33 degrees and rain and hope for some flurries with the wraparound moisture.

It was in the 60's lastnight + It was raining heavily with some crazy thunder in the mix.

Woke up to it being freezing cold this morning and a few snow flurries.. nothing major.. just really cold right now.

Looks like Asheville, NC ended it with a good 3-4" of snow.

We should be getting some inches soon. Last I saw, it's supposed to snow starting at 5 today and not let up until Tuesday at 8 am.

Atlanta, GA has been getting some snow this afternoon as well as northern Alabama, northern Georgia, Tennessee, and northwestern South Carolina. Looks like it's snowing now in Hickory, NC, so I'm hoping some of that can head my way.

The next threat of a decent winter storm is on Thursday, though. Looks like it could be a decent overrunning event here!

Been lightly snowing just about all day, with about an 8th to a quarter of an inch of snow on the roads around here they're talking about school closings and such.

It's been snowing since around 6 this morning and is still going as I type this.
