Sounds like winter here a couple or so years ago where just when you thought it was finished a significant snowfall would come the next week and the week after. Seriously the snow banks were so high I was beginning to wonder if it'd all turn to ice and be that way for the rest of the winter.
So what's the weather like where you live?

Houston, Brownsville (BROWNSVILLE!!!), and Corpus Christi are under Winter Storm Warnings.
Brownsville is forecasted to get >1" of snow. Brownsville has had one accumulating snow since 1895 and that was on Christmas morning of 2004.Comment

40 degrees warmer than yesterday, it's 13 degrees right now and it's only about 9 AM. Supposed to hit 25 which is going to feel amazing after the last week of terrible cold.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Pretty much the same here. It's nice when it doesn't hurt to go outside.Comment

They pretty much never do, but this is an amazing winter across the US, it seems. La Ninas usually suck for the eastern half of the US, too, which makes it even stranger.
As a side note, it was 63 degrees here with drizzle yesterday morning. This morning it was 29 degrees on my way to class. 29 isn't cold for this time of the year, but it felt cold after getting used to the 60s yesterday! Quite a cold front.Comment

Is that a Chelsea Grin hoodie? Tsk Tsk.Mid Michigan didn't get hit as bad as some places, but I had to start shoveling today from INSIDE my house... because of the wind, it drifted up against the front door at least 3 feet high and I had to force the screen door open and just begin shoveling with both feet still inside the house lol.
Overall took about 2.5 hours to do the driveway and a decent segment of the sidewalk. Just one man with a shovel! Still, I feel proud to be able to handle that much shoveling, especially without hurting my back which was aggravated a couple weeks ago.
As you can see, I'm too cool to take off my headphones and ski mask for a picture :P
Meanwhile, Indiana is just a wasteland. 400 closings today. Hoping for another tomorrow, everything is all ice.HoosiersPacersPhilliesRavens

Funny, my regional location has a difference than yours! I thought they had same rules/regulations/policies everywhere! Next, you're going to tell me people in China speak Chinese!

Nowhere did I say that it was the same everywhere nor did I imply that. I just think it's funny.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Holy cow at the height of that snow. Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
25 degrees and overcast in Austin, Tx. I am home from work cause the pipes froze and the power was out until about 45 minutes ago.
I grew up in the great white north so its funny to me how a little cold snap causes such a mess here in Texas.Comment
