The storm prediction center has us under a moderate risk of tornadoes today. The high risk area starts about 70 miles southwest of me. I'm hoping the storms won't fire up like they think.

Tornado warning for my town, went from sunny to dark as hell in a matter of 10 minutes. Thundering, windy, sirens went off 2 minutes ago.

Just had a tornado touchdown about 5 miles directly south of me, then the wall cloud that produced it passed almost directly overhead. Fun times.

Today felt like 80+ degrees and tomorrow is going to feel like 97.

We went from cool weather late last week to stinkin' hot in a span of 3 days.

Tornado warning. Wonderful. Some nasty storms going on right now.

Fargo is also under a tornado warning, apparently there was a touchdown just south of Fargo. I like storms but not when tornadoes are apart of that.

Edit: WOW I saw the most amazing clouds above my house. No doubt a rotating wall cloud, wish I could have got a picture but...I wasn't going to risk my safety. Half the clouds were moving east and the other half were moving west. Haven't seen anything like that so close to home. Looks like the tornadic part of the storm is past, thankfully. I've heard about tree damage across the city, sounds like it was from the straight-line winds and not anything tornadic.

supposed to be in the upper 90's most of the week (98 tomorrow) with the heat index around 105.

HOT!!! Reached 90 today and supposed to be 93 tomorrow which would tie the record set way back in 1919. On the upside, it finally stopped raining every freaking day.

It hit 90 here too, expected to be around 93 tomorrow. A week ago it was 40 something.

I'm not complaining, though, I hate the heat.

Today was near 100 here. I hate summer. Can't wait for fall and football.
