5-10 inches expected here. Started earlier with rain, sleet, and freezing rain for several hours before switching to snow.

A follow up to the snowstorm...its worse than I thought.

I thought the commute in the morning would be bad. Turns out I was right and wrong. It wasn't bad for me, it was nonexistent. Couldn't even get out of the house and if I tried, for sure couldn't get on the road.

I think Canada might be the only country who really just uses these numbers interchangeably.

People can typically convert cm to inches, mainly when it comes to things like weather.

Heights too officially its recorded in CM, but I only know my height in ft/inches. Same with weight. I have no idea how many kg I weigh, but I know pounds.

Cooking is the weird one as well. We use Celsius for weather, but cooking, it's only farenheit used. I couldn't tell you how many degrees Celsius to preheat an oven to, but off the top of my head I also cant tell you instantly the conversion between 90F to C, but I do know 90F is real warm weather.

This week is expected to be another storm.

Good news at least is that they're finally starting to plow the non major roads. It's been 2 weeks since the last storm, and they're only now getting around to doing so.

Hopefully this next storm isn't as bad, because if it took this long for them to plow some roads for that storm, by time they get around to it for this storm it might be melting already because it would be almost March

Sleet: 2.00 inches
Ice: 0.90 inches
Snow: 0.50 inches

Great! If that happens, no power for a week or more.

Today was really warm. Almost dont even need a jacket either.

So of course tomorrow might have a dusting of snow, because Canada.

Cold, windy and rainy most of the last day. Just had two trees come down from the woods behind the complex to the left and right of our end unit townhouse, the TH two spots over got clipped. Been looking at those trees sideways for a while, sure enough after being pounded by consistent 30-50mph winds they came down. There’s a few other trees that don’t look in much better shape, wonder if thay spotted lantern fly has wreaked havoc on them over the last few years or what.

I think it’s technically county property back there so hopefully they take down any others when they clean up the ones that have fallen...
