I'll take Wendy's every day of the week.

Do you people have an app on your phone to alert you when McDonalds is brought up? I can't think of many things (besides soccer) that bring out reactions like these.

Ya'll should really try that order if you haven't before.

EDIT: Here's a picture from my flip phone of that same order... only two 3x3's when I was really hungry.

It only says "Double-Double" because they don't have wrappers that say otherwise for bigger burgers, but that's three meat & three cheese baby.

Dear Lord this looks so good.

Can't believe people still eat this diarrhea.

McDonald's is the worst. If you're going to geat a burger, either make one homemade, or go to a real burger joint. This commercialized crap isn't even good enough for stray alley dogs.

it is when i need something to eat and don't want to spend 8+ bucks at a real burger joint....I need lunch to survive, but don't like wasting money like that daily.

Normally I bring my lunch to save cash, but McD and other places are still way cheaper if you want budget food.

              *Edit*
Or maybe I'm just weird in that sometimes I just need food to fill me up and don't care if it's cheap or quality/fancy/expensive....I just need my stomach to stop bugging me lol

This thread makes me realize how different out lives are here on OS. Lol
Blazer is griping about $0.20 added to cheeseburgers.
I am a single father with a mortgage, two car payments, and so many bills I have lost count. And Blazer is worried about $0.20. Lol
Blazer one day $0.20 cheeseburgers won't faze u.

LOL I got you. Though I never once griped (well I might have), I'm just saying they lost me. They don't need my business anymore.

In fact, I made a post on Facebook that I can post here, which is quite an interesting one. I am very much a creature of habit. McDonald's won't be on there, but I'll look it up right now after I paste this...

                    ---------------------------------------

So I've been trying to budget myself by paying only cash everywhere instead of my debit card (haven't used since September).

However, I wanted to see how I budgeted myself back when with the card. I did a run on how many times I visited the following places since January 2011 and paid debit:

Jamba Juice - 560 times (once every 2.5 days)
In-N-Out Burger - 269 times (about once every 5 days)
Best Buy - 100 times (once every two weeks)
Gas - about 100 times (harder to find with different names)
Subway - 84 times (lil less than BB & gas)
Movie theater - 59 times (every 3-4 weeks)

                    ---------------------------------------

In this time frame, McDonald's was visited a meager twenty-five times, and most of those times I just got french fries when getting a breakfast burrito from Southwest Grill right next door.

As I said, no reason to get McDonald's when I can get a significantly better burger for a more comparable price. A 20% increase is a 20% increase. That said, the burger has nearly increased its cost 100% since this thread was made. You think I'll buy from them now? I did once, that's why I bumped this thread. I sure don't otherwise, though. Millions of others might feel the same.

This is why retail stores price match on products, mind you. They don't want to hear you say, "Fine, I'll go buy it for this much at this other store." They want your business.

By the way, we should probably save this for another thread, but right now my family is in a financial crisis. Not literally, but since my father passed we've been forced to move, we're barely having a Christmas, and I bring three bananas to school every day for lunch, not eating anything else between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. I literally save every cent for now, hence the budgeting. Figuring out what the essentials are for now, and just doing that. I only splurged once on two games, and that was during the B2G1F deal.

Lol. A bit dramatic, no? Diarrhea? Only good for stray dogs?

                      Alright then.

I personally love McDonalds, but obviously limit myself quite a bit from eating it. So bad for you.

I eat it every other days because it's more convenient for me to grab a couple McDoubles, large fry and a drink on the way to class then it is anything else.
