Re: OS Off Topic 2009
does anyone else feel like during next gen the roles of Sony and Microsoft have flipped?
When regular xbox1 was popular there were only a few good games but it "had more processing power" and ps1 had weaker performance but way more games.
it is the opposite now. now sony is the overpriced one with more processing power but only a few good games. xbox is the cheaper more accessible console. I guess thats because Sony switched up its technology...
i just find it humorous as I have a friend IRL who is pro-sony anti-microsoft. he just ended up joining the other dark side and buying a xbox360 because "none of [his] RL friends have a ps3 and xbox has a lot of good games"
ive owned all of them except for a ps3.. im too poor for that right now.Texas. Football. All. Day.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic 2009
I LOVED the Xbox 1 and 360, but I hated the fact that the 360's are unreliable so I decided to switch, was the best thing I've ever did. Blu-Ray player + the best baseball video game out = sold.XBL: DTX3

Re: OS Off Topic 2009
Wow I have been BUSY today. 9-12pm I had a trial (lost damn it!), 12-12:30 Wife had a baby doctor appointment, 12:30-1:45 lunch, 2-4pm worked at a woman's shelter, just got back to my office (4:15) and I have a 4:30 appointment.
Tomorrow morning I have a phone hearing at 9am-11am or so, an 11am appointment, then a 4pm and a 5pm.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic 2009
This is true.....
Problem is it was a contingency case this morning, so by not winning I don't get paid. It was a small claims case that I knew would be hard to win, but I got experience trying a small claims case which will serve me well for the future. Given the facts I don't think anyone could have won the case honestly. I had something I thought would get the win but it wasn't enough the facts just weren't there. The Magistrate commended me for the effort though which was nice. But it also wasn't a case I spent 30-40 hours on either so really not a big loss, my clients were still grateful. Oh well live and learn there right?
If I lose tomorrows hearing though I will be pissed.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic 2009
Here we go again. I was watching TV and then heard some weird sound from the street - like a car smashed into something. I ran to the window and saw a car stops after 20 yards and a police car right behind it. I think the driver bumped into a parked car becuase I saw its left mirror twisted forward and the left back wheel cover on the road. But the unlucky hitter had a police car right behind him. After an hour I checked again and saw there's another police car there and they all standing there and talking...
Same thing just happned about 2-3 weeks ago, but back then there was no one to force the driver to stop, so he just stood there for a 20 seconds, looked at the damage and kept driving.
It's a very small an crowdy street - how can anyone go at 35-40 mp/h here?! and when you turn to this street (it's a vert short street) you can hardly see if someone is crossing the road. It happened more the once that someone was almost run down by a car here. it's only a matter of time...My Specs:
