I like the History Channel. What's the Nostradamus thing about?

To summarize the first 10 minutes, Nostradamus, the Mayans, the Sphinx, and the Free Masons were all conspiring to bring the end of the world in 2012.

If you've ever talked to a schizophrenic or someone going through a manic phase, that's the type of thought processes in this show. It's fantastic.

So far, my favorite thing has been the discussion of the alignment of the universe, yet they talk about nuclear weapons, genocide, civil unrest, war, and the economy. You need to focus conspiracy theorist; if you are talking about the universe, stick to global warming, hurricanes, and stuff like that.

I'm still confused about what Nostradamus has to do with the Mayans and 2012. What's next? Stalin: Buddhist Nirvana?

Actually, Stalin: Buddhist Nirvana could be a fantastic name for a progressive rock album.

So my mother got me a great new cellphone for my birthday (yes like a month late). I upgraded to the unlimited internet package for it and it has a keyboard. Best part it came with a $50 rebate she said I could have, so it's a new phone and $50 in a few weeks, the gift that keeps on giving. The $50 will go towards some baby stuff, sadly that is the first and certainly far from the last time I'll be saying that about what used to be disposable income.
