You cut off half of my sentence though. Complaining about some law means nothing and all it does is prove the fact that someone is a malcontent. You're not happy with something, either vote who you want, get into politics yourself, or get a whole helluva lot of people together to put pressure. If it doesn't work, which in the case of the topic we're discussing it hasn't, then the only solution is to go somewhere more palatable to your views.

And I have a random question. Which forum would you guys say you spend the most time in?

For me it's OS Neighborhood. Depending on the sport season I'm in the forums for a specific game more than OS neighborhood and disappear until later in the dev cycle but I'm in OS Neighborhood year round.

Definitely this time of year is OS Neighborhood. Will be the SCEA-MLB forum soon, then the NCAA/Madden (ew) forums

I'm not in law enforcement so anyone that knows correct me if I'm wrong but isn't pot a more serious offense than speeding, j-walking, and underage drinking? Wouldn't those 3 just be ticket worthy or infractions while pot usage is arrest worthy? If so then that comparison doesn't work.

Ah, but in a moral universe all are equally bad...criminal statutes be damned. You can't justify your own bad behavior by saying someone else did something WORSE.

Heck, one of my greatest regrets in life is driving 20+ miles, through downtown Denver and a couple 'burbs, drunk off my *** after a wedding, and yet if I was caught...how would I have dealt with the shame of my parents (who I was staying with), or worse, my wife who was still home in Minnesota? Had a cop busted me though, I wouldn't have complained and thrown a fit. I would have gone willingly as I knew I was ****ed up as soon as I started the car.

The only way that you could get in trouble for not doing anything is if the cops messed up.

Which thankfully never happens. Not only are all cops infallible, but every single one is altruistic and would never shoot someone in the back or bust into a grandmother's house and murder her.
