Last night was a huge disappointment.

Was at my friends' apartment, playing some beer pong and everything was going great. My best friend who doesn't go to school here was up and it was just a damn good time...

Then my roommate decides to hit one of our other friends in the face. It was't a full-on slap, but it was more an open-hand "punch." The kid decided he didn't like that too much and the entire party comes to a stop as the two start yelling at each other. Seeing as how I am the only person who can calm my roommate down, I have to get involved and keep the two of them from killing each other.

I had a similar experience a few months back. My friend was hammered and put him arm out to keep these two skanks (friends of his roommate) from coming in, but being drunk, his "arm" was more of a Greg Jones vs UNC stiffarm. Naturally his roommate didn't take this well, and the party went from awesome to dead in 5 minutes and I was left with 3 females, one of whom was the best friend of a girl who sent a friend of mine to prison. Awkward

Tonight, my homeboy is taking me to a diskotek for my birthday.

Weren't you complaining at one point how they wouldn't let you do anything except wash dishes?

I'm glad someone said it while I was busy at work. You'll never get far in the workplace if you continually act like this.

I was trying to set up plans to go to the mountains this weekend a few weeks back but found out the Long Beach Coin Show was that weekend and my boss wanted me to work one of the days with him. So, I told my friends to count me out and I stayed home this weekend to work while all my friends are up in the mountains. It's rained for 2 days and the mountains got a ton of snow, and while it would have been a lot more fun to go to the mountains I made the right move staying because today one of my coworkers was laid off. That could have easily been me if I had acted like you and decided to go to the mountains.

Have fun playing poker when you're out of a job.

So the other day I sent a facebook message to a teacher I had in HS who told me that she's divorced after asking her about it. Anywho I took a gamble I usually don't take and told her I always had a crush on her etc etc. and said something like "let's date" but I framed it in a goofy joking manner.

Wonder what her response will be, if any.

Did you really say that? That is freaking classic. It is true though, but it take two to tangle. I do laugh when the other spouse always blames it on the other spouse.
