Sounds good. I have never tried their beer. I just started getting into ipa's. I am usually drinking stouts and red ales but I have been really enjoying some ipa's at some tastings I have gone to.

Stone makes a great bear. You may want to start the basic "Stone IPA" if you're just getting into them. It's one of my favorites.

Just picked up Heavy Seas double IPA, the Big DIPA. First time they've had it where I go.

Also gonna be taking a tour of the Heavy Seas brewery in May, so that should be a lot of fun.

I wouldn't call it a great beer by any means. But does anyone have an opinion on Miller Fortune?

I saw a commercial for it tonight and wondered the same thing. Seems like Miller's response to Bud Platinum but I could be wrong.

Well I tried it today. Bought a six pack, seemed more like the response to Black Crown. I thought it was a solid beer for a macro. It has a hoppy yet caramelly initial taste, and finished smooth. Where as black crown has the Budweiser bitter finish, somewhat. I thought fortune wasn't too bad, not something id go and drink a bunch of. And the alcohol content doesn't matter to me. Some beers could have no alcohol at all and I'd still drink them because I like the taste. Fortune seems to be one where if I went out to eat or just went out for one drink, I'd consider it, but not for having a bunch of. Just curious what anyone else who has tried it thinks.

I got a couple of those many years ago when I was a member of a beer of the month club. I thought the beer was great, went on their website and bought a t-shirt because of the label.

Yea its not bad at all. I was expecting less just based on the marketing direction but actually the flavor superseded the marketing.

Had these last week while on vacation in Orlando.

The Delirium Tremens was one of the best beers I've ever had, definitely need to try and see if I can find it locally. You could definitely taste the sweetness of the bourbon in the Kentucky Bourbon Ale. Definitely a unique tasting beer and I enjoyed it.

Had a few local Florida brews too, but I can't remember the name of them.

I had the Kentucky bourbon ale a few weeks ago myself. Predictably I was at a whiskey bar... they had $4 off all whiskey/bourbon drinks. Needless to say that was the only beer I had that night.

I did like it, but I'd have to try it again under different circumstances. I'm also still on a bit of a hops kick so unless it's a stout (will always love a good stout) or IPA, I'm a bit picky... it'll pass.

Colorado brewery known as Odell has recently launched here in North Texas. One of my friend's homegirl is their beer rep/marketer/etc.... so I've got to partake in a few.

And my friend and I went in half on a growler of this stuff called Prairie Noir. 11.5% bourbon barrel aged imperial stout. Soooo good.

They also make an Espresso Noir, and Vanilla Noir. Had a bottle of the vanilla but my sister broke it >_<.
