Trying out Flying Dog's Naughty and Nice holiday brews, starting with Naughty tonight.

Had no idea what to expect with this going in, and I was pretty intrigued when I read on the bottle "ale brewed with habanero peppers, orange peel, and spices." I'll just say it's very heavy on the spices. I'm not a big fan of spice in beers, so this one isn't really my cup of tea, but it's not bad. Definitely tastes like Christmas. Would've liked to taste more of the habanero.

Next up is Nice.

Found a bar this past weekend that had Great Lakes Christmas Ale, which I can never find over here in NJ (all the other Great Lakes beers are available everywhere though). If this is a down year for the Christmas Ale, then I'd like to see how it tastes on a good year, because I thought it was great. Obviously I don't have have a reference to compare it to, but its one of my favorite Christmas beers. I thought it was better than Mad Elf.

Heading to Blue Pants Friday night because they are bringing back tapped Chocolate Oatmeal Porter. You can buy it year round in the bottle, but for some reason I prefer it from the brewery tap and it's seasonal.

Dude, its a glorious place lol. Food trucks will be out there as well......and then you have Rocket Republic Taproom right next door.

Terrapin makes some good brews.

I'm going out to the Perfect Pour in Howard county later today to stock up on some good beer that's not usually available in my local stores.

I'll have to browse through the past few pages of this thread to get some ideas.

Yea that me know about that terrapin...could be very good or very bad.

Right out of the gate I went with the terrapin.......good lord it is excellent, might be my favorite beer now replacing liquid bliss. Lots more to go, but the terrapin is amazing
