Its a pretty traditional pilsner, good clean flavor. Its a great beer all around, my only knock is the 5.3 abv. As a tail gating beer to get away from the standard fare of Budlight its fantastic for an all day drinker. I just wish its was hovering in the 6 abv range, yet all in all I've quickly become a fan of Oskar Blues Grill brews.

I went to Barrel Republic in San Diego a couple weeks ago with my girlfriend. Awesome idea for a bar. They give you wristbands with sensors and you hover them in front of one of their like, 50 beer (and they have wine too) taps and pour as much as you want or as little as you want. Charge by the ounce. Each tap is touch screen and tells you about the beer and which glass to use, etc.

Very cool. And coming from LA, dirt cheap. Girlfriend and I drank to a pretty decent buzz for a couple hours for 39 bucks total.

Was in Tinton Falls, NJ for corporate training. We had a dinner at the Asbury Festhalle and Biergarten. They were having their one year anniversary. As a result they had 4 barrels of Pilsner Urquell flown in it was unfiltered and unpasteurized it was great. We had that and then I went with my favorite German beer.

Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier.


Had three of those liter glasses. Great place with great beer.

I've literally put down three cases of Blue Moons, First Peach Ale since the second week of January. It's nothing special in the taste department an amberish beer with a peach finish, that and Blood Orange Ale are my two favorites this time of year.
