I went to this place last night. It was interesting. I'm not a big beer fan, so I can't really comment on the taste, but I tried the Light beer and the Dunkel and they weren't bad. We got them in huge glass mugs, so it was fun to drink.
It was a pretty fun place. Not many people there since it just opened and it was a Wednesday night. They just had basically a bunch of long tables and live music from some dude playing polka and all that.
Did you get to see anyone do shots on the surfboard?Comment

I'm still waiting to see one of these in my market some day. The only good mini-keg I have ever seen is Rogue's Yellow Snow IPA, but at almost $40 it seems far too expensive. Hell, I can get good 1/6 barrels for $50.
Had a new IPA over the weekend, Ballast Point Sculpin. Outstanding IPA. Not sure why it's a limited release or cost $10 / bomber though. Also had Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, which I can't get enough of lately and at $5 a bomber is much more reasonable and just as tasty as the Sculpin.
One liquor stores in town I frequent just added a ton more cooler space recently so almost all of the craft beer is now cold! It was a glorious sight to see on Friday.Comment

I like blue moon but I don't really like the full moon. I tried it one night at our local pool hall. They were out of blue moon and she suggested I try the full moon. I switched over to crown and coke after I finished it :wink:Comment

LOL, yeah their commercials are as lame as can be and I'm not sure why they do that. Awesome selection there (not quite Friar Tucks level) and the staff is knowledgable and helpful. They typically have some good sales on craft beer as well, something I have never seen at Friar Tuck.Comment
