Yeah, what Matrix said. I would describe it almost exactly like that first review. Lazy Magnolia is the only brewery in Mississippi, though that's likely to change soon. Their signature beer is called "Southern Pecan" and is brewed with actual pecans. It's currently my favorite beer. They also have a stout that is made with sweet potatoes that I need to try soon.Alabama Crimson Tide

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
My palette isn't up to IPA/DIPA yet. I'm not sure if it ever will be. I just don't like them that much.
Thinking of trying to work on liking stouts and porters and such, considering I love winter and those are awesome winter beers to have.Comment

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
I prefer to drink my beer slightly below room temp. Leave in fridge, take out and let sit on counter for 5 min or so. You get much more of the flavors yet get a good bit of the chill.
I don't advise this, but this is something I do sometimes. It has transformed over from my whiskey drinking. For those that don't know I drink whiskey clean only and is my drink of choice (glass a night or so). Whiskey rocks is something I use to get the perfect "chill" to the whiskey with out watering down the whiskey. I would be lying if I said, I have not tried them with my beer lol

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
I said do you prefer to BUY the beer warm or cold, not drink it warm. Warm as in the case is sitting out in the display area at room temp. I know some people don't like to buy it cold unless they are really close to home to get it in the fridge. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I'll buy either. If what I want is only out on the regular shelves, that's what I'll go with. If what I want is in the fridge, I'll go with that.Comment

Lol, that makes more sense. To answer your question though I always buy it cold since as soon as I buy it it's either going straight home and in my fridge, straight to a friends and his fridge, or straight in a cooler.Comment

This. Most of the beer I buy happens to be on the shelves because they have more of a selection and there is only a limited amount out of beer refrigerated.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
During my usual Friday post-work stop at the grocery store for a six pack I spotted Sierra Nevada Tumbler Autumn Brown Ale. Last year I made the mistake of waiting for fall, only for them to sell out before I bought any. Fool me once...Comment

I still didn't get a chance to try Tumbler Brown. How was it?
I've cut beer out of my budget pretty much entirely since I haven't had any money coming in in the last year.Comment
