Ok, so I turn 21 in a few months, and despite my efforts, I've never really found a beer that I like. I don't really drink soda either. The carbonation in soda bothers me, so I think that tingly taste in beer is part of what turns me off too.

At this point, I think I've tried:
      Keystone Light (never, ever, again)
Corona Light (I was at least able to stomach it, but I didn't like it very much)
Michelob Ultra (I feel like it was some special flavor of it, but I'm not positive. Anyways, this was definitely my preferred choice between the three).

I'm definitely more of a vodka or Bacardi Limon or wine kinda guy.

Does anyone have any suggestions on beers that I should try? I don't want to be THAT guy at the bar lol (just THAT guy here )

Haha, yeah, I definitely know Keystone is a never, ever, again kinda thing. The Corono and Michelob is just because that's what my mom and brother drink sometimes so I tried it on a vacation.

I know my brother and one of my cousins are planning on basically buying me different kinds of beers at whatever bar we go to until I find one that I can stomach lol.

If it's the carbonation you dislike you're going to have to get used to drinking darker beers. Generally speaking, darker beers contain less carbonation. Also, drink from a glass instead of the bottle or can. Agitating by swirling or whatever can also release some carbonation which might make it easier for you to down.

I think what these guys want to say is avoid cheap beer.

This shouldn't be an issue for you Zuckerberg

He's gotta find a good cheap beer so he can pass the time until his woman comes back home.

A rack? Can't say I've ever heard that term.

A rack = a case (24 beers, four 6 packs still in the "case" so to speak)

It's a term used mostly by college age kids.

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread

I went to college for a little bit in 2008 and I never heard of anyone calling it a rack. I assumed it was a Canadian thing.

For me, Corona is my beer of choice. It's the best tasting to me, but I'm not huge on trying all kinds of different beers. Of course, anything is better than Nasty Ice. I didn't really like Octoberfest whenever I tried it last year.

I agree with him, Corona does taste like water.
