My god, what happened to this thread? Page 4??

Anyway, I'm over the moon right now with this Lagunitas Cappucino Stout, mainly because I'm pairing it with a cannabutter chocolate souffle... the bitterness of both are a perfect pair and it's just bonkers. Anyway, the beer is amazing, it's a limited release, so get it while it's available.

I also have some Great Divide Hercules Double IPA, which is just hop-head porn. Also had a Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, which was great as well... Phobia, you'd like all of these beers I think -- the stout is a little sweet but drink it with dessert or something and it's insanely good.

I get mine from a friend/caregiver, he makes a batch every few weeks and I've been making all kinds of stuff. Choquettes (little French cream puffs), Mexican chocolate cinnamon rolls, lava cakes, Challah bread... good times.

Also, for what it's worth, people swear by the crock pot method -- just leave it in the medium (butter, oil, glycerin) for 6+ hours on low (make sure it isn't bubbling), strain it through cheesecloth, and then let it solidify and it'll be ready to go. Haven't made any myself yet, though I'll be doing some honey oil with Bacardi 151 with vaporizer leavings and trim sometime fairly soon.

Downed a sixxer of these New Year's Eve before we went to the bars..even though I've had them before and it's a favorite of mine..

I'm not a huge fan of fruit beers(Sweetwater Blue is probably the only one I drink regularly) but I love SA Cherry Wheat. Always look forward to seeing it on the shelves down here. A case of it is sitting in my fridge. That should hold me over for the month of January easily.

It's nothing new or terribly exciting but my go to beer as of late has been Young's Double Chocolate Stout. I have found a place that has it on tap and also found a few stores that carry it. It is a great sweet stout and awesome in the winter and can be paired with just about any dessert. I have a pint of it on tap with a slice of Jamaican cheesecake last night and it was insanely delicious.

Had some Terrapin Coffee Oatmeal Stout this past weekend.

It's in my top 5 now. Excellent beer. Perfect beer for pre-gaming.

Is Bud Light Golden Wheat any "good"? I know this is the GREAT tasting beer thread, but my wal mart only has the cheap stuff which as a college student is all I can afford anyways.
