I was able to get 2 six packs of Hopslam a week ago. It's hard to find down here.

Haven't had any yet. I've only had it once about a week ago on draft at a pub and I thought it was pretty good.

So, I just had my first legal beer at Public Brewing House in Rolla. I must say, it was great. Luckily I had the opportunity and common sense to learn something about beer before today.

I've now had it on a few different occasions, and I must say I think FatHeads Headhunter IPA might be my favorite beer. If you enjoy IPAs you definitely need to give it a try

It is good and I had to double check but it's unfortunate because Fat Heads doesn't mass produce their beers.

It can only be found in area's around here and Cleveland.

I actually find it to be a relatively mediocre brew and an "entry level" IPA myself.

I have absolutely no idea how this brew is rated as highly as it is. It boggles my mind.

Yep, that one is just so mediocre to me. NOTHING about it stands out about it whatsoever.

I know you enjoy GLBC's stuff, so check out the Lake Erie Monster IPA in May. It's awesome!

Does Great Lakes make an IPA? I've never seen one.

I like most of their stuff and would be interested to try an IPA from them.

They have one that is a year-round brew and three seasonal IPAs this year:

1- Commodore Perry - year round brew. Very much an "entry level" IPA. I give it a C-.

2- Alchemy Hour - new seasonal. Very original, not bad at all. Grade: B.

3- Rye of the Tiger - new seasonal. Very bitter (which I like) and incredibly dry (which I don't). Grade: B-.

4- Lake Erie Monster - third year as a seasonal. Extremely awesome in all regards. Grade: A!
