Glad this thread was bumped but I haven't been drinking much beer lately. I guess my last one worth mentioning was one of my favorites, Evolution's porter, Lucky 7.

*Also pictured is their IPA, Lot No.3 which is another one of my favorite IPAs.

Cool. Do you like heavy seas? I love a lot of their beers. Love the black cannon. One of my favorites.

Tried Spotted Cow while I'm up in Wisconsin. Really really bland. I was sad.

I was in Columbus a few weeks ago and my buddy had some Fathead's Lazy Dayz (APA). Very nice, and based on beer advocate reviews they have a lot of excellent beers.

Went to the local "Brew Fest" here in Huntsville this past weekend. Its pretty much a beer drinkathon with over 50 different breweries. Pay 40 at the door and drink as much brew as you can in 6 hours. Discovered this awesomeness and would recommend

I love loose cannon. I like black cannon too but not as much. There are a couple of others that I used to get a few years ago that I can't find (haven't looked that hard, but they aren't widely available like the 2 cannons).

For some reason, every time I've been to the Heavy Seas bar I'm not happy with what I get.

I was thinking about going to the brew tour. Loose cannons is very good too. They seem like that is their most popular. I see that beer in almost all of the stores in the area

It's definitely the most popular... and is probably in every bar in Baltimore. It's a damn good IPA too so I can't even be mad at them for that.

I should do the tour myself. If you've never been to the bar, I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. It's just that... a bar. Only thing special about it is all the beers are heavy seas... but somehow the only two I like are black/loose cannon. The food is okay but nothing special.

If you get a chance to get to a dogfish bar I would recommend that though. None in Baltimore but there's one in PG County, one I think in Rohobath Beach, DE and another somewhere close. I'm hoping an Evo bar pops up soon, now that they have a brewery in Delaware I think. Lots of bars in Baltimore have a few of their beers though.

Dogfish has very good beer. I will look for the pg county one. Evo sounds real solid too.

Tried Siera Nevada's Torpedo tonight at a restaurant. It was pretty good. Lucky to have it on tap.

Just tried the Flying Dog Dead Rise. I was fully expecting to be hit over the head with old bay taste (which I don't like being over done), but it was subtle and refreshing fir a "summer" beer. We are doing a crab bake tomorrow so it should be really good with the crabs.

I was expecting the same over powering taste. A liquor store was doing a sample tasting in the area. Very easy beer to drink. I was pleasantly impressed

Just picked this up myself. Had my sights set as soon as I heard about it. I see a lot of crabs and beer this summer.
