Is this a English Brown Ale, & is it filling? i know the drinkability of Goose Island Mild Winter is GREAT...not filling at all with a nice malty tast w/ caramel, roasted nuts, coffee, brown sugar...w/ a 5.6 ABV

Yes, it's an English Bron Ale. For me it's something I can just drink all night. I know it has a hint of chocolate and a toffee finishing taste. It's brewed in Louisiana.

            Here it is on BeerAdvocate.

I had Molson XXX last night...

Doesn't taste very good, but holy **** if it didn't do its job and get everyone drinking it pretty drunk.

I've heard good things about Fat Tire. I'll have to pick up a six pack sometime.

That's just the great thing about beer. There's almost an infinite number of them out there.

Sierra Nevada is awesome on a hot summer day.

I'm a fan of the beer at Granite City. The Northern Light is me favorite.

I guess I am just a simple beer guy. I rarely drink alcohol, but when I do, I just like a miller lite.

A guy I work with told me about this local place called "3 Dogs Sons and Suds" (http://www.3sonsdogsandsuds.com/). Odd name, but they have a great selection of micro-brews. The guy I work with is a beer guru. He makes his own stuff and goes to beer fests all over the US. Needless to say, he knows his stuff!

I'm a Killians or Newcastle Brown Ale type. However, I bought a nice selection of micro-brews from this place and all of them are outstanding. The best is that they have a free sampling every Thursday. I went the week before Christmas and they had all kinds of Christmas beers. All of them were very good...

I've had some really good beers in the past few months. We have to get our good beers in other states because in Alabama they are not allowed to sell beer with more than 5% alcohol in them.

Whenever I'm in Atlanta I get some good stuff.
