I'm looking forward to having a job that is more casual. The last two jobs I had I had to wear the whole shirt and tie thing. That'd be cool if I was making a salary, but part time, I'd rather be able to wear something a little more comfortable.

Probably looking stiff as hell. Our job doesn't require us to tuck in polo's or button down shirts if we are wearing jeans.

No, our place is pretty laid-back about the dress code. The other day I had a shirt tucked in because it looked better, but it was uncomfortable. I'm a huge fan of the untuck.

At work yes, it is unpresentable and unprofessional.

When you're not at work it isn't because you're not trying to look professional.

Isn't the point of DRESS DOWN DAY to NOT look professional?

If I am wearing JEANS and a POLO, why are we discussing how unprofessional it looks?

I don't wear my jeans hanging off of my butt or anything like that.

Polo and jeans=not tucked in

I've never worn jeans to any job I've had, but if it's with a polo, you don't tuck it in. It looks weird.

If I see someone tucking anything into jeans, it makes me think that their mom dressed them this morning.

It all depends on your dress code too...we can wear jeans all the time at work, it's casual. I wear dress shirts untucked with jeans, same with polos. I tuck them in (and wear khakis) when I want to be more presentable, but I sit at a computer all day and it's a complete relaxed environment.

You look like Urkel when it's tucked into the jeans.

I usually wear my polo shirts outside my khakis during the rest of the week. Only time I tuck my shirt is if I'm wearing a regular button-down shirt.
